Crew continuity is one of our top priorities. That is why many of our sailors, who originate from a variety of different countries, have been working for many years on ships managed by our company. By providing regular employment to our colleagues at sea in line with their individual level of competency and graduation we assist in developing nautical and technical careers.
Services
IONA Shipmanagement based in Limassol, Cyprus is acting as a crew manager. IONA works hand in hand with manning agencies in the home countries of the people working on board.
Many of the tasks relating to the employment of captains, officers and engineers are performed by IONA while at the same time being coordinated and controlled from our offices in Hamburg, who enjoy a trusting relationship with IONA.
The crewing department of our company therefore represents the centre of a network which is capable of handling this complex and challenging task.
