BALTRADER was established in 1983 as a cement trading company. As early as 1986 we started to handle steadily increasing transport volumes of bulk cement with self-controlled tonnage. Our activities today concentrate exclusively on shipping of cement and related procucts.
The first pneumatic cement ship, the MV ‘’BALTRADER’’, has been continuously supplemented by additional vessels, all of which have been converted to special pneumatic cement carriers. BALTRADER currently operates a fleet of nine modern cement ships with cargo carrying capacities ranging from 2,200 to 6,800 mtons. Our fleet currently concentrates on transort along north- and south-western European coasts.
Services
All of the ships in our modern fleet are fitted with pneumatic self discharging equipment. These closed cargo systems generate some decisive advantages for our customers, transporting cement, grinded slag and fly ash:
